About

The THEIA Jewelry collection is inspired by THEIA, the Greek Goddess of light who endowed gold, silver and gems with their brilliance and intrinsic value.

At THEIA Jewelry we design our collection with you in mind. We hope to accompany your journey through life and be an important part of how you uniquely express yourself with styles that transcend everyday chic, sophisticated contemporary, vintage romantic, organic minimalistic to dazzling special occasions. Each piece is carefully hand crafted by skilled artisans in our studios and can be found in specialty boutiques and major retailers around the world.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Irene: business woman, four time entrepreneur, wonderful wife/mother/daughter, and jewelry designer.

Irene was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea until she was 13. Empowered by her mother’s strength and independence, Irene thrives at making a positive impact in whatever she does. After a career in the corporate world for 20+ years, she followed her dreams and started her chain of happy businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. She built a full service day spa & salon from the ground up and soon after, two upscale boutiques. While catering to the women of the Bay Area with her distinctive taste and eye for style, she was inspired to design her own jewelry. She has always loved encouraging women to find happiness by nourishing their inner beauty and confidence through her spa and boutiques. With her passion for creating beautiful things, she has also found another way to inspire women to feel beautiful with the jewelry she designs for them. After a decade of producing her line exclusively for her own businesses, Theia Jewelry made its public debut in 2012.

The collection ambiance is a fusion between the beauties and strengths of the Eastern and Western cultures. Irene travels extensively for her design inspirations and works with artisans in South Korea to personally hand pick the best materials to create unique and memorable pieces. Theia Jewelry’s small studios provide great working environments where each artisan is recognized for their creative artistry. Irene finds fulfillment in providing a good workplace in both countries she considers home while also helping women express themselves. She hopes to continue making a positive impact in her own special way for many years to come.
